Is it possible to use the google gadgets (from google desktop) with the Vista Sidebar?

Google gadgets in Vista?
Nope :o( Only files with the .gadget extension work I'm afraid.

The Sidebar doesn't work too well on my computer - it keeps "unexpectedly" shutting down. So I installed Google Deskbar and use Google gadgets with much better results.
